About me

Before turning to crime, I was a newspaper journalist for The Daily Express, The Times and The Daily Telegraph. My first book, Hot Chocolate, set in Brussels and London, was a European hit and sold out in two weeks.

My latest book, Murder at an English Pub, is available to preorder now here and will be published on July 3rd 2024. It’s the first in a series set by the seaside, starring Sarah Vane. Sarah is a retired doctor who turns amateur sleuth when she finds a body in mysterious circumstances…

I have also written nine cozy crimes set in south east London, featuring my single mum sleuth Beth Haldane. They are published by Bookouture and available here.
