Gosh, I am sooooo tired these days. I don’t know whether it’s staggering out of bed in the dark, the longer school run, the sheer hellish shock of getting up early again after nearly three weeks of lolling about over Christmas, but my eyelids are permanently heavy. When I’m not actually yawning my head off, I’m trying to curl up on the sofa for a nap. I even found myself telling Child Two yesterday I was too tired to test her on biology for her exam this morning. Gah! Meanwhile, during the night I’m up at the faintest sound, pottering to the loo, feeding the cats, putting the bread maker on …. you don’t need to tell me this is the cause of my daytime sleepiness. But you do need to tell me all your tips for sleeping better at night/maintaining some level of consciousness during the the day. Please!
