My great friend, the artist Magda Hunt, has always been a stalwart animal lover and is a great supporter of IAPWA (International Aid for the Protection and Welfare of Animals).

She has designed a spectacular fundraising fashion show, the K9ATWALK, to be held at the Polish Hearth Club in Kensington on Friday, 10th February at 7.30. Admission is free but there is a suggested £10 donation to this good cause.

Downton Abbey star Peter Egan, Golden Child actress Charlotte Lewis and and wildlife and conservation presenter Anneka Svenska will all be lending their support, and IAPWA organisers Nicky Stevens, Amanda Leask and Madeleine Hunt will be officiating.

Magda is taking donations of dresses and jewellery for the show, which will be auctioned for the charity. Anyone who has been to the Polish Hearth Club, with its amazing bar, nestled in the heart of London’s museum mile, will know that it has hosted some extraordinary parties over the years – and this is bound to be one of the best.
