Nuts for Cadbury’s

Sponsored post

As you know, we are slaves to Cadbury’s here – in fact, I’m pretty sure that the famous glass and a half of full cream milk was the way I got all my calcium as a child – so we were thrilled to test drive their latest offering, which arrived with a satisfying thud on my doormat the other day.

I say ‘we’, but these days due to my determined (and quite honestly rather dreary) sugar-free status I delegate all but 70 per cent cocoa testings to my team of willing helpers. Today’s volunteer was Child 2, currently working her gap year fingers to the bone as a teaching assistant and therefore sorely in need of a little treat now and again.

Well, the Dairy Milk Big Taste Peanut Caramel Crisp bar seemed to hit the spot. Child 2 described it as ‘a bit like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups’ which as we all know are unspeakably addictive and delicious. The crisp element was considered to be a great idea, contrasting well with the peanut and caramel ooze (yum) and of course the whole lot is topped off with a goodly dose of delicious Cadbury’s Dairy Milk. And there are little peanut-style decorations on the top of the bar! Just lovely.

Thank you, Cadbury’s, and I think you’ve got a winner on your hands with this one. Now Child 1 will be back for Easter soon, just in case you’ve got anything else you need tasting …
